About the Founder

Mal. Jamilu Gambo is the visionary founder and proprietor of Al-Abrar Academy Katsina. Motivated by the concern that youth education, especially religious education, has been declining, he established the school to provide children with a balanced, high-quality education that combines conventional academics with strong proficiency in English and Arabic, alongside Qur’an recitation from the primary level. Mal. Gambo believes that by giving children proper education from an early age, their lives will be well-directed, and this foundation will produce responsible and capable leaders for the future, as children are the leaders of tomorrow..

Our History

May 2025 – Founding

Established on 11th May, 2025, Al-Abrar Academy Katsina was born out of the desire to provide children with conventional education alongside mastery of English, Arabic, and Qur’an recitation from the primary level.
